AquaVet® Algae Control is an effective algaecide and herbicide that controls a broad range of algae including Chara, Spirogyra, Cladophora, Ulothrix, and Oscillatoria. It also controls rooted and floating aquatic plants such as Hydrilla, Potomogeten sp., and Water Hyacinth. The advanced formulation prevents copper precipitation with carbonates and bicarbonates, ensuring increased residual activity in treated water. Apply anytime—even during overcast or nighttime conditions—for maximum flexibility. For best results, apply when livestock water consumption is low or the watering area is not in use.
