We are a local, family-owned and operated company with 11 locations across the North Texas community offering feed, pet food, lawn and garden supplies, and more. For over 25 years, we have proudly served our communities and built our reputation around knowledgeable, friendly service for every customer who walks through our doors.

We are looking to grow our team with responsible, personable, and motivated individuals who enjoy helping customers and are looking for a long-term opportunity with Russell Feed & Supply.

Our Full-Time Counter Staff typically work approximately 40 hours per week, including weekends, with some overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful customer service
• Operate the Point of Sale system and accurately process customer transactions
• Answer customer questions and assist with product recommendations
• Develop sound product knowledge across livestock, pet, lawn & garden, and other store departments
• Answer phones and assist with customer inquiries
• Stock, organize, and maintain merchandise throughout the store
• Help keep the sales floor, counter area, and store clean and organized
• Assist with receiving and inventory as needed
• Help customers load products when necessary
• Work with other team members to complete daily store tasks
• Follow company policies and maintain a safe work environment
• Assist store management with additional duties as needed

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, dependable, and willing to learn
• Fundamental computer skills, including email and Point of Sale systems
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Knowledge of livestock, pet, feed, and lawn & garden products preferred
• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Forklift and propane experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to safely lift and handle products commonly sold in a feed store
