The heat is here to stay, as I write this, we just had our first 100 degree day. For us this means slower days at the store and many of our staff going on well deserved vacations.
We wish everyone a safe July 4th. Russell Feed & Supply will be working the Dallas Dog Show, stop by and visit us if you can.
Don’t forget about your pets, this heat can be harsh especially on older pets. Keep plenty of fresh clean water and exercise only in the mornings; the hot asphalt in the evenings is rough on the pads of their feet.
Hay report
It looks like we are going to have a good crop of local hay. We have plenty of inventory of all products, except for two string alfalfa, it’s the only hay product we don’t have at the moment.
