The years 2020-2023 were a whirlwind of growth in our company, and 2024 will be remembered as the year we tried to catch our collective breath. We made a lot of improvements in our processes such as onboarding new employees, spent time visiting our manufacturing partners across the country, and frankly got caught up on some things we’d been needing to for years. Although we didn’t open any new locations, a lot of time and effort was spent in trying to determine the future needs of our company, as well as planning work to get those projects and facility improvements started.
As I write this, we are filling up and utilizing the recently built haybarn at our Weatherford store. I’m excited to have this new building complete! We are preparing for a busy 2025 and have several projects in various stages of the city permitting process, including:
- Haltom City- a new warehouse
- Camp Bowie West- a new haybarn
- Cleburne- a new warehouse addition and haybarn
- Granbury- a new warehouse
- Mineral Wells- starting work on this brand-new location!
We look forward to earning your business every day as we continue to invest in making our locations more user friendly to better serve you.
As most of you who shop with us know, we will do most anything to earn your business, and you can find most anything you need. However, there are a few things you will NOT find at a Russell Feed & Supply store:
- You will not have to park a block away.
- You will not be greeted rudely by an employee.
- You will not find 30 cash registers, only to have 2-3 open.
- You will not get lost in our store.
- You will not have to check yourself out.
- You will not have to have a “special store card” to keep from getting overcharged.
- You will not have to arrive at 5 am for sale prices.
- You will not have to load your own purchase.
- You will not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
- You will never find us open on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas.
